Hugh Jackman’s post-divorce life is reportedly becoming more complicated behind the scenes. A new report claims the actor believes he’s losing longtime Hollywood friendships following his split from ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
The “Wolverine” star has largely kept quiet about the end of his nearly three-decade marriage. But according to a new insider account, Hugh Jackman now feels the fallout has extended beyond his personal life and into his closest social circle.

According to a report from RadarOnline, Hugh reportedly believes Deborra-Lee has influenced mutual friends to distance themselves from him since their 2023 split. An insider claimed the actor is especially hurt by what he sees as growing support for his ex among longtime friends.
“Hugh’s increasingly angry over the feeling that more and more people in Hollywood are quietly turning against him,” the source alleged. “He blames Deb for it 100 percent and says there’s been a steady drip of poison behind the scenes from her and her camp,” according to RadarOnline.
The outlet also claimed Hugh believes fellow Australians Naomi Watts and Russell Crowe have become more aligned with Deborra-Lee. The former couple finalized their divorce in 2025 after nearly 30 years of marriage. Hugh later went public with his relationship with Sutton Foster in early 2025.
Another insider alleged that Nicole Kidman has remained firmly supportive of Deborra-Lee. “She believes Deb was deeply hurt by how everything unfolded, and Nicole isn’t interested in pretending otherwise just because Hugh showed up with a new woman on his arm,” the source claimed.
The report also suggests Hugh is upset that Sutton has allegedly been excluded from some of the social circles they once shared. According to the insider, “Hugh’s blaming Deb for that too. He says it’s incredibly unfair that Sutton is being frozen out and judged by people who used to happily socialize with her.”
The source further claimed Hugh has reached a breaking point. “Hugh is demanding Deb stop stirring the pot. He says things have spiraled way beyond a normal breakup and turned into a coordinated effort to isolate them socially. He’s furious and says he’s no longer prepared to just sit back and take it,” the insider alleged, according to RadarOnline.
