Aaron Phypers has filed new legal documents against Denise Richards. According to TMZ, the documents state that Richards has failed to pay monthly temporary spousal support and legal costs. The RHOBH star reportedly owes $30k to his lawyers and $5k each month to Phypers.
She reportedly only paid a partial amount, $13,500 to him and $28,000 to the lawyers; however, a $41,500 balance is still outstanding.
Phypers claims that she earns enough through OnlyFans and reality shows to cover his spousal support; however, the actress has failed to pay spousal support as per court orders.
The latest filings ask the court to hold Richards in contempt for reportedly failing to comply with a previously agreed court order.
He filed for divorce from the actress and model, citing “irreconcilable differences” and demanded spousal support on July 4.
The court has scheduled the hearing for contempt on September 14.
Earlier, in response to his demand, Richards filed for restraining orders citing abuse during the ongoing proceedings, which the court granted. However, Phypers has not made any comment on the claims.
The couple had been married for six years and has no minor children. They got married in 2018 after dating for a while. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star previously divorced Charlie Sheen, and Phypers previously divorced Nicollette Sheridan.
The latest filing has taken a new turn in their ongoing divorce battle. The hearing next month will decide the outcome of Phypers’ alleged claim that Denise Richards’ spousal support payments have not been made. However, the Real Housewives star has not made any comment on the reported claims.
