Sony Pictures Animation and Amazon MGM Studios confirmed that a fifth movie in the Hotel Transylvania franchise has been greenlit for production. The movie will be titled The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania, and it is set to be released in theaters on Oct. 8, 2027. This marks a change from the most recent entry in the franchise, Hotel Transylvania: Transformia, which was only released on Prime Video in 2022 and did not get to play in theaters. Jennifer Kluska and Alan Hawkins will direct the new movies, and Genndy Tartakovsky and Michelle Murdocca will serve as executive producers.
