Unlike the wait between Infinity War and Endgame, there won’t be any Marvel Cinematic Universe films coming out in between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, and Kevin Feige just revealed the reason why.
While speaking with Empire, Feige admitted that it was a strategic decision not to release any MCU movies between Doomsday and Secret Wars because Marvel Studios is trying to focus on quality over quantity. “When quantity is so much, you get spread thin,” he explained. “We didn’t want to be spread thin, and the Avengers is as important as it comes.”
