While holidays with kids can be costly, given the gloriously sunny weather that much of the UK has seen over recent months, many may have been tempted by a budget-friendly staycation. While many abroad getaways offer the convenience and ease of an all-inclusive, it’s not something regularly seen in Great Britain – until now that is.

Parkdean Resorts offers all-inclusive holidays across a wide selection of its parks, bringing together accommodation, dining and drinks in one easy-to-manage package that’s perfect for families. Ideal for those sick of trying to budget for holiday meals while receiving unexpected refeshment requests from little ones, this option takes the hassle out of eating whilst away.

The all-inclusive option gives guests three meals a day including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alongside food, the package also includes unlimited soft drinks and hot beverages such as Costa Coffee, giving visitors the freedom to enjoy refreshments throughout their stay without racking up extra costs.

Available on selected four night midweek breaks at certain UK parks, the offer is typically available for Monday arrivals outside of the peak school holiday periods. For those wondering whereabouts they can go to take advantage of this offer, the packages are available for a range of resorts, spanning the likes of Cornwall through to Scotland.

One popular resort is the Pendine Sands Holiday Park in South Wales. With its beach location, indoor pool and countryside views, it’s great for adults and children alike – though it is worth checking when the pools are open during the year for the duration of a stay at each individual site. At the time of writing, the cost for a deluxe three bedroom lodge which sleeps up to six people from Monday September 28 to Friday October 2 2026 is £685.

For those with a beloved pooch, there’s the option to get a pet friendly stay too for an extra £49. Those wishing to add on an all-inclusive package for an adult can expect to pay £120 each, while the kids’ option is an additional £40 per person.

Elsewhere in the country, Cornwall’s Lizard Point Holiday Park remains a popular choice, offering activities, evening entertainment and both indoor and outdoor pools. It also boasts easy access to beaches, coves and coastal walks for those who like to do a little exploring whilst away.

We checked availability for the same dates for four people in pet-friendly accommodation and at the time of writing the Superior Two Bedroom Lodge which sleeps up to six people was priced at £497 with an additional £49 to bring a pet. The all-inclusive packages mentioned above are also available to add onto this stay.

Meanwhile, Butlin’s also offers options with all-inclusive food and drinks bundles, and prices start from as little as £28 per person per night. Elsewhere Center Parcs’ UK forest holidays remain a favourite among staycationing families, with plenty of food options available including family-friendly restaurants and cafes, lodge takeaways or in-lodge dining.

Back to Parkdean Resorts, and there’s plenty of reviews from happily families on the company’s UK holidays. Over at Tripadvisor, one happy holidaymaker said as part of a lengthy four star review on the Pendine Sands resort: “The weather was terrible for August but my 3 grandchildren insisted it was the best holiday they had ever had.”

Meanwhile, another part of a review of Pendine Sands on the Parkdean website reads: “Sophie was incredible with our energetic 7 year old grandson and all the other children. She would learn all the names and which squad was their favourite and engaged with them all. She was wonderful.

“Her contribution to the adult entertainment was fantastic, we loved Nashville nights particularly. Ella was great at comparing the Happy Holiday show, that was great fun and Stacey’s solo petformance with our grandson as her dance act was brilliant, she was so lovely with him. Thanks for making our holiday a good one Sophie and the team.”

It is worth noting that one mentioned the Wifi ‘never worked’ during their stay, however another wrote: “What an amazing little place to unwind for a family holiday, loved every minute.”

Lizard Point Holiday Park also proved popular, with one reviewer commenting as part of a longer review: “Lizard Point Holiday Park really does offer something for everyone. It caters for families, young and old, whether you take advantage of all its on-site facilities or just a base to come and go and rest up after a busy day exploring beautiful Cornwall.”

However, another mentioned a concern with the staffing levels on site, writing: “Not enough staff to keep the outdoor pool open daily.” Despite this, a five star review review simply reads: “Fab site and will be coming again.”
