Tom Cruise shared the first official look at Days of Thunder 2 in a new poster on his social media accounts, confirming the movie will be released in theaters on Jun. 2, 2028. Additionally, he confirmed that Anne Hathaway will join the cast of this movie, although her character has not yet been revealed.
The poster shows Cruise and Hathaway standing in the middle of a racetrack next to a bright green-and-yellow car, reminiscent of the color palette he used in the original 1990 movie. The car is emblazoned with the movie’s initial title card, substituting the last letter of “Thunder” for the number “2.” Cruise then shared a video of himself and Hathaway posing for the poster, joking and laughing with each other about getting started on filming after Hathaway gives birth to her third child.
