Repeated power and water outages, long queues for bottled water, and poultry farms destroyed by the heat: millions of Tunisians were affected by water and electricity shortages over the summer. Our Observers say this is the result of years of underinvestment. The water shortage eased in late August when authorities sent millions of bottles of water to stores, but many are concerned the same thing could happen next summer.
