For a while, Brits have been able to catch flights to some of the world’s most beautiful and sunny destinations to escape the cold weather here at home. And now, Brits have even more choice as airline have already revealed their winter schedules for 2026/2027. As well as expanded schedules, the likes of Jet2, easyJet, British Airways, and Virigin Atlantic have added new destinations to their schedules, giving UK travellers even more choice this winter. The Express has looked at the lineups, and put together a list of gorgeous destinations that offer not only unforgettable cultural experiences, but long hours of sunshine, and hot weather in November. So, if you’re looking to hang onto the hot weather for as long as possible, it is worth leaving behind the cold, wet weather that is set to come and checking out which one of these six contenders could be your perfect escape for a week or two.
Agadir, Morocco
UK holidaymakers can enjoy flights to the Morocco’s leading coastal beach resort Agadir, The seaside city is known for its golden sand beaches and year-round sunshine with temperatures in November reaching up to 25C.
Jet2 has launched new flights this winter schedule from two UK airports.
The airline is running one weekly flight from East Midlands, and two a week from London Gatwick.

Cairo, Egypt

Cairo is a popular destination because of how close it is to ancient wonders including the Great Pyramid of Giza. As well as the incredible landmarks, it is also home to bustling local markets, and beautfiful historic architecture.
Egypt’s captial also offers warm weather throughout November with temperatures averaging between 25C to 27C throughout the day, making it the ultimate winter escape.
EasyJet offers flights to the popular city every Monday and Thursday from Manchester Airport.

Colombo, Sri Lanka

Colombo offers an exciting blend of rich history with a modern coastal vibe. The Sri Lankan capital is also famed for its diverse culinary scene that ranges from local streetfood serves along the seaside to trendy rooftop cafes. Seafood is also incredibly popular in the city, with chefs combining traditional Sri Lankan spices with fresh Indian seafood to come up with exquistie blends.
The city experiences warm, humid conditions with some inter-monsoon rain in November. Average temperatures can reach up to 30C.
British Airways is offering UK holidaymakers the chance to fly directly Colombo from London Gatwick Airport. Flights run three times a week.

Hurghada, Egypt

Hurghada is a fantastic Red Sea destination, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, snorkelling and diving. It’s also ideal for relaxing by the pool, enjoying boat trips and soaking up the sunshine.
In November, temperatures can reach around 28°C, making it a great choice for a warm autumn getaway when the UK is getting colder.
Brits can fly to Hurghada with Jet2 from Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick, Manchester and London Stansted. easyJet also flies from Newcastle on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt

Another incredible Egyptian destination, Sharm El Sheikh is a Red Sea favourite, known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, colourful coral reefs and fantastic snorkelling and diving. It’s also home to luxury resorts, lively nightlife and exciting desert excursions.
In November, temperatures can reach around 27C, making it a brilliant choice for some winter sunshine and a warm beach escape.
Holidaymakers have great choice with Jet2 flights to Sharm El Sheikh available from Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick, Manchester and London Stansted.
