President Trump’s reaction to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and her fellow Democrats’ attempt to storm the Department of Education building on Friday morning did not disappoint.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, footage emerged Friday morning showing Democrats led by Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) trying to barge their way into the Department of Education building in their latest pathetic publicity stunt following other protests earlier this week.

As TGP readers know, the Trump White House on Tuesday drafted an executive order to abolish the Department of Education, a significant campaign promise by President Trump.

After officers refused to let them in, Democrats immediately melted down and began bullying the guards. Some also started comparing one security officer defending the building to segregationists blocking black kids from entering schools during the Jim Crow era.

At one point, Waters also asks the guards if they have firearms and would shoot them. Federal officers eventually arrived while one lone guard helped keep the Democrats from entering the building.

Fox News’s Peter Doocy asked Trump for his reaction to the attempted insurrection, and the president’s reply was absolutely fantastic.

He started with a classic roast of Mad Maxine and the Democrats before moving to make a critical point about our failing education system.

“I see Maxine Waters, a low-life, I see all these people, they don’t love our Country,” Trump said.

“So they rank 40 countries in education,” he added. “We’re ranked DEAD LAST.”

Massive government subsidies to achieve disastrous results.

Trump continued to detail just how awful our K-12 system is while pointing out another damning fact: we rank 1st in per-pupil spending across the world.

“The ‘good news’ is we’re number one in one category: cost per pupil. We spend more per pupil than any other country in the world,” Trump added. “You look at Norway, Denmark…Various countries up and down…and then you look at us. We spend much more money than they do.”

The president then outlined some common-sense solutions, including making school choice more readily available for students.

“In Biden’s last year, we’re ranked dead last. So what I would like to see is (school) choice, but beyond choice, I want to see it go back to the States,” he said. “(There are) great states that have no debt…They will be as good as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and any of the other highly ranked countries.”

“There will be 35 to 38 states ranked right at the top.”
