The United States is celebrating 250 years of independence this July and many events are taking place to commemorate the occasion, both in the US and across the Atlantic. France provided crucial supplies, arms and troops during the Revolutionary War effort, tipping the balance in favour of American independence. Francisco “Paco” Perez, spokesperson for the US Embassy in Paris, tells us more in Entre Nous.
